Pork Tenderloins in Cream Cider Sauce recipe
Think of this dish as your ultimate stress-relief food on a chilly, cloudy day. It’s like a cloud of tasty comfort.
Ingredients:
2 (1-pound) pork tenderloins, trimmed
4 tablespoons butter, divided
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cloves garlic, sliced
2 cups apple cider
1 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 cup whipping cream
Directions:
1) Slice pork tenderloin crosswise into ½-inch thick round medallions. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium-high; add pork and cook until lightly browned on both sides, about 8 minutes total. Remove pork from skillet; set aside.
2) Add remaining 2 tablespoons to skillet; melt over medium heat. Add flour and cook until lightly browned, stirring constantly, about 2 minutes. Add garlic and cook an additional 1 minute, stirring.
3) Add cider to skillet; bring to a boil over high heat, stirring occasionally. Add reserved pork to skillet; cover and simmer until pork is tender, about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove pork from skillet; arrange on serving platter.
4) Add parsley and cream to skillet; simmer until just thickened, stirring, about 3 minutes. Pour over pork and serve.
