Pork Tenderloin in Cider recipe
Ingredients:
2 pork tenderloins, with fat trimmed off.
4 tablespoons of butter.
4 tablespoons of flour.
2 cloves garlic, minced.
2 cups of apple cider.
1 cup of chopped parsley.
1 cup of whipping cream.
Preparation Instructions:
Slice the tenderloin crosswise into half-inch thick medallions.
In a heavy saucepan, melt the butter over low heat; add the pork and sear lightly to seal.
Do not let the meat stick to the pan.
Add the flour, then stir until mixed with butter.
Add the minced garlic and apple cider.
Stir until the mixture thickens.
Simmer for 18-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove the pan from heat, then add the chopped parsley and cream.
Serve immediately.
